Raised in a musically rich environment, Rhonda Lynn began her musical studies at the age of three while learning to play the violin. Over the years her musical talent flourished to include violin, voice and flute. Rhonda is a graduate of Grant MacEwan College in the Music Writing, Recording Arts and Performance Programs.
Rhonda’s musical styles range from classical, folk, jazz, and blues, to pop and musical theatre. She brings a depth of talent to her music that accommodates itself to a wide variety of situations. Whether it is for a wedding, or for soft background dinner music, her playing creates an intimate feel that enhances any social atmosphere.
Rhonda has enjoyed performing with various duos and trios at locations such as the Winspear Centre, Fantasy Grill, the Haar Theatre and the Bonnie Doon Folk Club. As a member of the Rhonda Lynn & Kevin Smith Duo and through playing for weddings and other functions Rhonda continually strives to evolve her musical styles and develop her natural talent.
Rhonda teaches private violin lessons to students ranging in age from 5 – 65 in a variety of musical styles.

Kevin and Rhonda have a brilliant synergy on stage. The combination of guitar, violin and vocals in their swing, original and jazz playing has an exciting sound. Whether playing background music or front and centre, Rhonda and Kevin generate an enthusiastic response from audiences. They both have strong singing voices and their repertoire includes instrumental and vocal solos and duets.
